What I have found out is as follows
This bench is made by Standard Chair of Gardner Inc. which is in Massachusetts.Ā What I have found out from them it is a limited edition chair only made in 1976 for the 200 year anniversary of this country.Ā They only madeĀ 5000 of these bench which is all maple wood., and they soldĀ for $129 in 1976.Ā I can't find anything else online about this bench.

Hello, I read an article where someone was inquiring about value and an appraiser had responded saying that according to his research the average sales price was $600.Ā Unfortunately i did not save a link, but i found through a google search about 6 months ago.Ā I have the same bench which is why i was researching it.Ā

Without a picture it's hard to tell exactly what type and size of bench we're talking about. That said, theyre is not much demand for Bicentennial reproduction furniture at the present time.
