This antique dagger is from the "Nels Stout Antique Knife Collection". Nels was born in the mid-1880's and began his knife collection shortly after the turn of the century. I believe it is an antique 18th century large Indo-Persian Dagger. Bone grip handle. Original fabric scabbard. Overall length 13.25". Blade length is 9.25". Some surface corrosion can be found on the blade. Ā

Re: Persian Shamshir Sword 200 years old / Indo-Persian Pesh...
afghan khyber knife.Ā Ā Not saying this is what it is.. Is the Ā Ā scabbard. made of wood? covered in fabric?Ā Original fabric scabbard. ? the condition of the blade, I would think there would be the same aged look on it? who told you it was Original?.
Do you have a photo of the top of the blade> is it thick?. Little note these were used to penatrate chain-link armor, so they are not to sharp.
I can tell you this.. the more carvings on these Ā knifes the more they are worth..the plain ones not so much.. could you give me a little more info? Thanks..
