Long Description
This gun has some surface rust on the outside and on the inside of the barrell. The rifling is still good and the mechanics of the gun are still tight. The handle is made of what looks like black plastic and it is in excellent condition. Across the top of the barrell, are the words Smith and Wesson, Springfield, Mass. and then patent dates of May 11, 1880, Jan. 3, 1882, and April 21, 1889. The serial number is 430098.
History
This was purchased by wife's grandfather before he entered WWII. The gun was already used then. Once he passed away, I received the gun.
