We have a log book which we believe to have belonged to Sir John Ross, Arctic explorer and contains many pages of his original handwriting. It has a watermark dated 1807, and it is still in great condition for its age as we have preserved it well. We have taken it to Stranraer Museum in Scotland who have a collection of his items and they have confirmed they believe that it belonged to him. It contains things such as; general instruction for the conduct of fleet, fog signals, explorations to name a few. The book itself is in great condition considering it's age and still has the original cover and spine, along with all pages still being bound together. I will attach some photos for you to have a look. I have more if you need to see, just let me know.
