This cabinet has 3 sections of curved glass on door and sides. A heavy mirror on the back. 2 curved thick glass shelves inside with wood bottom shelf. I believe it is mahogany. There is a painting across the front bottom of a Victorian couple. The male figure is playing music for the lady. The signature looks like GIROU. The outside of the glass and around the painting and sides has tacked brass ornate trim. They couldn't find the key and had been trying to get into the cabinet by taking the trim off, so it will have to be tacked back into place and the mirror re-attached. I found the key in another item I had purchased from them. I wish they would have looked a little bit harder.... but I believe it is an easy repair. There is also gilt brass pieces on the top sides next to the door and on legs. The letters XVI is carved into the inside bottom of cabinet. I don't have the mirror inside it or the glass curved shelves but they are in perfect condition, so the picture is in AS-FOUND condition.
