This is a 1960 lithograph that my mother owned. Karel Appel is a well-known modern artist who does bright canvasses in a simple. I could find only one other example of this litho on the internet , which sold for $537 at Waddington's in Canada. However, some of Appel's other work goes for $5,000 and his canvasses go for hefty sums. My brother and I are interested in selling it and would like to know what a fair asking price for it  would be.
