There is a sticker on the bottom of this beautiful Buccaneer Chest vintage tube radio. It shows the type of tubes and the location of each. It reads: TOP ROW = 35EHS; 12AV6;128E6 BOTTOM ROW = 12AU6; 12BA6;12BA6;17EW8. It also states that it is 117 Volts AC/DC 40 Watts and made by Guild Radio and Television Corp., Inglewood 9, California. It looks like a treasure chest and when you open it, there is what looks to be a pirates map on the face as well as a pirate ship to the lower left and the north, south, east, west directional to the lower right. The inside of the lid is a crushed red velvet with a gold emblem in the middle which has a pirate on the face, as well as a pirate ship in the background. On it it reads The BUCCANEER CHEST by Guild. The two leather straps crossing over each end of the top of the chest from front to back have metal studs on them and there are metal handles on each end making it easy to pick up. Each handle face plate has a round inlaid speaker in the middle of it. The radio still works. It is a beautiful piece. I am not sure at this time if I want to sell it or not, but would consider offers. Pictures of similar can be found on internet by googling "Guild Radio & Television Corp". Thanks.
