Long Description
This daybed is held together by rope which is threaded through the holes in the posts. Â I have used it with the rope, but am not using it at this time.
It is 75" long. Â the some of the posts appear to be pine. Â One of the posts (the front length one) and the end pieces seem to be a harder/heavier wood. Â When I purchased it, I believe that they said it was cypress (?).
I purchased it about 35 years ago from an antique shop in New York's Hudson River valley.
I think that I paid about $250-$300 for it.
Any information about what it is/history and value would be very appreciated.
Thank you.
