Long Description
This chair was inherited from my uncle, who was an antique dealer in Gloucester, Mass., in the 1960s. This chair is to fragile to use; I took it to a restorer who refused to work on it. He said it was a "pre-Jacobean carver chair" and it should not be restored. Well, I can't use it for seating, so it has been languishing in a climate-controlled storage unit forever. I need to sell it, but I have no idea of an asking price. I can't find anything like it on line. As you can see, it has its original upholstery, but it is gradually coming apart; the fibers are disintegrating. Thank you in advance for your help..
History
I know nothing; it came from an antique dealer's inventory that I inherited.
