Long Description
This was my great grandparents mantel clock. It was probably purchased around the late 1800's.
It was passed down to my grandparents. My grandfather took it apart and it sat in their basement for years. In the mid 1970's I took it to be repaired. My parents had it repaired in Omaha, Nebraska and it took the clock maker one year to find the parts. It has the original glass in the door. He said that was rare to see the original glass. It still has the original glass.
It still works daily. It is a reddish brown finish. I believe the clock maker put on new hands on it. I have the origiinal key and hands.Â

History
This was purchased in Idaho by my grandparents around 1895. It was passed to my grandparents who lived in Nevada and was given to me around the mid 1970's. It was repaired around that time and took one year. The clock maker was extremely surprised that it has it's original glass.
