It is heavy storage box with handles and legs with interesting designs on the oustide which seem to have a aztec or foreign influence. Seems to be handmade from the imperfections on the inside. Seems to be made out of brass or copper or maybe iron and has a light patena colar as well to it.

Very interesting. Could this be a cerimonial piece? Have you tried to spot clean this to get a better idea of the material it's made from? If not, your local metal working shop could tell you what it's made of. Also, if no reconizes this, your local metal shop can also ef and if it's from a mold or handmade. I'm looking forward to more details.
