This razor has a very fragile, wood handle. The blade is steel, and is marked: Ontario Cutlery, Geneva NY, US. It was inside a cardboard box and the box has this marked on it, although you can barely read it: Western States Cut & MFG Co, Boulder, Colo. From what I have read online, I am guessing this razor to be manufactured sometime between the late 1700's to the mid 1800's. The blade is in pretty good shape with no chips, and the handle is all there, but has one small crack on one end. I would greatly appreciate anyone who might have info on this item. Thank you

Well based on the markings it would not predate 1876, the year Colorado became a state. Most of these razors date from 1890-1930. They were mass produced items and are not rare. They don't go for much unless they are a very unusal design or former property of someone famous or notorious. In many cases under $20.00 at auction
