This was purchased for $100 at an antique shop in 1998 with the sign in the bottom (pictured). That’s honestly all I know about it.
The sign says “signed” but I can’t seem to find this signature.

Nice Trunk ... I would date this circa 1895 - 1910 so yes it is an antique !!!
Estimate Value $150 - $350 US depending on market and demand.
The main concern with this trunck (also known as a Dome Top / Steamer / Chest) is that it looks too prestine. It has been restored but by the looks like they did a good job. The concern is in dating it it doesn't have dents, scratches, tears etc as would be for sure on this type of item after this long of period. I would suggest its orgin is central eastern seaboard of US.
