Long Description
My mother-in-law gave me this real pretty Washbasin & Bowl that is a light green color with gold trim and it has a picture of a man and a woman under a tree on it.
Underneath the bowl, there is a marking that says Staffordshire Ironstone and it has a crown on it with NW on one side of it and YW on the other side of it and with EngLand above the crown, and underneath the picture there is a marking that says NWAO STAFFORDSHIRE YWAO IRONSTONE and then there is a picture of a Bird above a flame and with the word ENGLAND above its head. My mother-in-law bought it from a lady that was having an Estate Sale. She told my mother-in-law that it was in her family for a very long time.
History
It was gave to me by my mother-in-law. She bought it from a lady who was having an Estate Sale. That lady told my mother-in-law that it was passed down in her family for generations. My mother-in-law bought it cause she knew that I liked antique stuff. The only scratches that's on it is on the bottom and that's from where it's been sitting on the shelf.
