Long Description
Heavily Carved furniture. It has a table base with a 1 door cabinet that sits on top. Has angled shelves on each side of door. It is a 2 piece furniture item. It was given to me as a gift from a client after many years of service. I have no knowledge of it's history. I have searched the internet for anything close to no avail. I am only assuming it's a cupboard or sideboard.Â

Re: Cupboard/Sideboard
It's a "Court Cupboard" in a style often called "Jacobean Revival" the style loosely based on early English furniture made during 1500 and 1600's. Some are now antiques in their own right, being produced in the Victorian era, later ewamples dating from the 1930's. This one is likely from the 30's, exported over here from England or Europe during the last big demand for such furniture during the 1980's. Demand for furniture like this is now rather modest, comparables at auction now often sell for under $500.00
