Antique GWTW or Vintage Double Ball Hand-painted Large Lamp

I have what I originally thought to be a Gone With The Wind type double ball lamps. It's handpainted, electric, in mint condition. However, it isn't a round ball on top. There are actually two of these and both work and are in excellent condition! There are no identifiable markings that I can see and they are 13 in. at the widest point. I only have one here in order to try to find the date, style and value of them. They are dark green with flowers, daisys and maybe Gerber daisys, and accents in gold inlay.

Lovejoy's picture

This is a reproduction, based on the original late Victorian oil lamps. Most of them post date the Movie "Gone With The Wind", the popularity of the 1939 movie causing the production of the lamps. No big value today, demand for them last peaked in the 1990's. They often now go at auction for under $100.00
