Long Description
Rocking chair with Lion's head carved on top center and top sides.. Embroidered yellow velvet seat cushion. Appears to be rosewood. The finish on the bottom rocking rails is slightly worn off it has a reddish tint. It is 42" tall and 25" wide. Table is a 24" square with same reddish finish. It has carvings all around the top edge. I believe they are US in origin and from sometime around 1900-1940. Â
History
Was owned by grandparents who came to US about 1900, which is why I believe it to be US origin and made 1900-1940.
