I bought this lamp at an auction and was told that it was made in the 40s. It is a beautiful reverse painted lampshade with a heavy bronze or brass base. There are two lamp sockets, one with pull and the other (looks rebuilt) with an old thumb screw. The base plate/cardboard is missing, so I am unsure if there would have been a signature on it. It looks like a Phoenix or Handel, but no signature anywhere...any ideas of who the artist/company is and what is it worth? I have pictures!

You'll have to post your images over in the appraisal forum, if you do that I'll have a look at your lamp.
