Based on your images this table is a mid Victorian example in the Rococo Revival Style. Tables like this one are called "Turtle Tops" after the shape of the top resembling a turtle shell. These were made on both sides of the Atlantic, the majority of them being made in North America. Values and demand for them peaked during the 1990's when decorating with Victorian Furniture was in vogue, values since the end of the 1990's for them have been in decline.
This one though is a very high quality example of a type produced by top makers such as John Henry Belter and J.W. Meeks that often sell for over $4500.00, but can sell for as much as $15,000 at auction if it is an example by these two makers.
