This is a beautiful print piece on rice paper. I picked this up and know nothing about it. Any help would be appreciated
Ceramic bowl. Blue with green 3D dragon. Bowl appears to have been made in China and includes the following markings on the base: A3 B15. Bowl is approximately 7.5" in diameter and 5" high. Interior has no design or markings; light grey in color.
It looks to be on a felt or velvet type material and all of the image is stitched onto the material. The glass is scratched and so is the wood frame but the art is in good condition. It is 3 feet by 4 feet, I don't know anything else about it. I don't see and signatures or dates on it, there are symbols in the flags that might help if they can be translated.
Need someone to provide more info on this item. First off, what exactly is it?
My friends brother brought these 2 vases bak from overseas as a gift for his Mother appx. 31 years ago. Both brother & Mom have passed & my friend knows nothing about them. They have been dust collectors- until I spotted them. They could be porcelain. No signature or maker marks - there is readable text (in chinese!) on the tapered part of the neck. Can anyone translate & tell me what it says? Any guesstimates as to the age, origin or value of the vases?
