"Helping collectors find out what their item is and what it's worth..."
WW2 books
Being a newbie here I'm not sure why no one has replied to your question. WWII has had more books written about it than any other conflict in history. One would need to know the title and author at a minimum to even know if the tome was even one of remote interest or rarity, to begin asking questions regarding condition, printing, etc.
In all honesty, the odds are highly against your book being anything special, but one never knows - it may turn out to be a rare dedicated, signed 1st that was part of some general's personal library and worth enough to get your IRA where it was in 2006.
Having said that, 99.9% of WWII histories are more valuable to an interested reader than to a collector due to the sheer volume of mediocre efforts and opinions proffered.

Hello if i may add is it a 1st addition it sould tell you inside the book the first addition are sometimes worth a little bit more. You could check online and see if there are any sites for book collectores that may be able to help you a little more.
