Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png):

Antique silver tea and coffee service containing 6 pieces: tray with 2 handles, teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl with handles, covered sugar bowl w/out handles, and creamer. Underneath, all pieces state: "THE SHEFFIELD SILVER C.." (markings have rubbed off after "C"); "MADE IN U.S.A."; also the letters "E", "P", "C", each of which are contained in a block/square. The tray also is numbered after the letters - "5/252", under the letters; the sugars and creamer are numbered "64", under the letters; and the tea pot and coffee pot are not numbered. The tray contains very light, intricate engravings. The tea pot and coffee pot contain a black band or insert in the upper and lower portions of the handles. These pieces are heavy and are not silver-plate. Local auctioneer says they are real silver. Condition is much better than pictured.
