I'm not sure where to send this since the contact area won't work for me.

I've sent question's to contact and now I don't get any answer's.

I'm not new on here...

In the search area no matter when or what I search for nothing is found.

I know the object's of my search are on here somewhere.

I can't post an appraisal it keeps saying I have 67 when I had it down to 10 and it still won't go through...does anyone know what's going on?

I updated everything on my computer and I even tried going through firefox and nothing works.

Thanks,

Sue2

I did not get the reference to the spirit of St Louis as that became famous in 1927 and would be hard to put into an 1850's watch!!

Re: Posting and searching.

There has not been too much activity in here as far as replies go.

If it's been 8 weeks I'd try reposting the items or posting a link to the original request.

Re: Posting and searching.

I've had three appraisal requests posted for almost 8 weeks now with no response...I keep checking on here to see if has changed, but nothing yet..two of the request are of paintings, the other is of a vintage stuffed dog, could you take a look under my account to see the descriptions and pictures and see what you think? Are they not descriptive enough, or what's wrong? I thought should atleast get one appraisal by now...

Thanks to anyone who may be able to help..

Re: Posting and searching.

Ricardo,

I looked under your account and do not see any appraisal requests posted by you.  As you can see there are many new appraisal requests coming in constantly to Instappraisal.  You too can check your appraisals that you've posted by going to "Account" at the top of the page, select "My Account" and click on the "Track" tab.  It will show you all of the posts (including appraisal requests) that you have entered.  Are you sure when you posted your appraisal request that you answered the Math question at the bottom of the page?

Re: Posting and searching.

Thanks Joseph but it's not going to contact with my email address...so I can't get a response.

My account seems to be gone.

On a good note the search area seems to be working fine. :)

Re: Posting and searching.

Hello,

This should all be fixed now.  Please let me know if you still have problems accessing your account or any other issues and I'll be happy to get them resolved.

Thanks Joseph,

I reloaded my page and it's gone from bad to worse.
All points that were there and pending are now gone.

All of my sent and incoming mail has vanished...some of my appraisels are also gone.

It says I sent messages out about a vintage Fendi tote bag....I didn't send these messages.

And it still says I'm Andy...I'm not a man.

Seems like someone has been hacked...my computer checked out ok.

Thanks,

Sue2

Re: Posting and searching.

Hi,

We had a problem where strange things were happening to the site due to a memory issue.  This should now be in better shape.  We weren't hacked, it was a simple technical issue.  Let us know via Support if you still encounter any issues.

Thanks,
Joseph

Re: Posting and searching.

All,

There was a bug with Searching which has now been fixed.  Please let support know if you still can't find your item using the "Search Instappraisal" box.  I think that you'll now easily find your items and any comments.

Enjoy,
Joseph

when you find yours make them find mine. Please? I am new to the internet and I am norepinephrine. I can't make them get back to me either. I posted an appraisal request for an 1850s women's Sheffield pocketwatch two days ago and I can't find it. Can you send those people my way? thanks a bunch. ldotcats@live.com

Re: Posting and searching.

My appraisal points are still missing.

I never posted anything about a watch or the spirit of St Louis.

You need to post this under a new topic.

Thanks

I posted an item (handpainted plate) with photos, on Nov. 21 2008.  I have been to My Account, searched, looked under every tab  -   no sign of my posting.  Any advice?   Thanks.  Smile

Re: Posting and searching.

Are you looking for your specific appraisal(s), or just searching for something in general that is not your item?  If you are searching for your appraisal item then the best way is to go to the "Account" tab in the upper-right and then select "My Account."  When your account information comes up then you should select the "Track" tab.  The "Track" tab will show you everything that you have posted on the site, including your appraisal requests.  Hope this helps, it's actually quite easy once you now how to do it.
