this item has hung in my bedroom for a very long time, I know my mom purchased this item years ago

this is possibly a reproduction  or print, it is a lady and man with a dog, it appears that you can actually see shadow. The paper is old and very fine. Just would like to know if the individuals are anyone special and of course if this has any value. Also it says in very smalll print made in germany, what appears to be the initails knk, looks like numbers 861
