Re: I have no idea how much milk glass is worth, or where to ...

alot of people mistake milk glass to white glass...when you hold milk glass up to a light you can see different colors because it is made with petroleum and glass. white glass will not show these colors. you may want to contact a seller on ebay who has alot of it as well.

they may be able to tell you more...there are also alot of books on glass collecting.

Milk glass is a generic term for white glass. Each piece has a different value depending upon:
1. who made it (manufacturer).
2. How old/rare the piece is.
3. How unique / displayable the piece is.
4. How much of it is in the market at the time of sale.
5. Condition of the piece. (broken, chipped etc)

so you need to do quite a bit of research on each piece to answer your question. Selling in small amounts gets the better price. Tall pieces sell better than flat or short pieces generally, because they display better. Rare pieces that complete sets tend to sell best. Name brands (ie Fenton) vs un-named manufacturers are worth more.

Hope this helps you some what! Look for marks and styles then search the web for examples to match them up!
