History

The Renaissance Revival Style is a European and American furniture style from the second half of the 19th Century. It was characterized by rectilinear and massive forms, especially in highly architectonic case furniture, and by elaborate ornamentation, which featured colorful contrasts of materials, a variety of techniques and the eclectic use of decorative motifs taken from Renaissance and Baroque furniture and architecture of the 16th and 17th centuries. This revival occurred in the mid-19th century, Renaissance Revival style furniture was most popular in the 1860s and 1870s, but remained fashionable well into the 20th century in some locations.

Based on what I can see from your images this is not a Victorian Renaissance Revival style suite, nor was it made " Circa 1880", and it is highly unlike it was made before 1900. If you could provide better quality images of the backs of these pieces, the drawer bottoms and sides I could tell you a great deal more.

Post the images on this forum. It's the construction details I really need to see, as mentioned before, close up shots of the drawer sides , bottoms the backs of the caninets and underside of the table.
