Here is a cobalt blue bottle I have had for many years got it at a old flea market in Scotland.The glass is some what distorted and bubbled and the base has a very sharp pontil .Tried much research but to no avail thanks annmac for any help.

The pontil seems by what I can see in the photograph to be a "glass tipped pontil."

Often generic termed as "open".

Crackle glass and items such as these are rather common and unless there is a clear mark that dates a pice older are nominal in value.
