Long Description
I can not find ONE for sale online OR even a record of a recent sale.
Is this because the heater is not desirable at all so they are just not being traded?
Is it because this heater is that rare?
Hoping it is the latter and someone could tell me what a fair price would be? I will add photos of the actual heater if they would help.
Any advice or info would be so appreciated!!
History
Rescued from its original home as the house is falling down.

Re: 1938 Duo-Therm Imperial Oil Heater
Duo-Therm made huge numbers of oil space heaters right into the 1950's, they could burn kerosene or furnace oil, some had their own portable tanks, others could be hooked up direct to larger standard outdoor or basement fuel tanks. There is not much demand for them today and they are highly inefficient compared to modern heaters. Last one I had I sold for $75.00 as a garage heater.

Mr Lovejoy :-)
Thank you for you help. I think it is a stunning example of the design period - but having just gotten it, didn't want to spend the time it takes to remove almost 80 years of crud with no ROI of my time!!
I appreciate all of your thoughts and experience!!
Good vibes,
Denise
