Based on your images your particular mirror is a Victorian Eastlake style piece, made during the 1870's and is what's referred to as "Pier Mirror". These were often accompanied by a matching table which sat underneath and placed in hallways or between large windows or used as Over-mantel mirrors on large fireplaces. The purpose of the mirrors was two fold, one, simply for reflection, the second to reflect light about the room or hallway. Values for these pieces depends a great deal on their size, vintage and style.
