Re: A Chinese porcelain jar and cover
This looks genuine. Â The mark reads "Chenghua Nian Zhi", which is spurious and was not made during the Chenghua period (1500s), but during the Daoguang (1850ish). Â It may be worth getting checked out by a professional since it does show proper age, but not 500 years age. Â
