This Lamp is what's called a "Metal Overlay Slag Glass Lamp", they were designed to resemble more expensive leaped stained glass lamps by big name companies such as Tiffany. Lamps of this type were made for the lower priced end of the market toward the peak of popularity for this style prior to World War One. While not mass produced in the modern sense of the term, they were made in large numbers, most sold through mail order catalogs and department stores.
