Re: Writing chair
Your chair dates from the turn of the 19th Century to about World War One. Similar chairs can be found in Sears-Roebuck and Montgomery- Ward catalogs of the period. There is not a huge demand for them today, we retail comparable chairs for about $225.00.

Thank you for that info! I searched in google images and came up with nothing similar. Is this considered a writing chair? Do you know what kind of wood it is made of?
