History:
This clock was passed down in family.
Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png):
We recently sent pictures to a clock museum and they could only tell us that the clock was probably manufatured, or refurbished in the early 1900's by a company in England. Or that it might have been bought there. Not much other info to go on. The Antiques Roadshow was here and they looked at it and could only say that it might be somewhere in the $1,000.00 range but might be a lot more if we could get more info on it.

Size and dimensions of this item:
Approx. 30" H x 14" W x 18" L
Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png):
I picked this item up from the flea market today with the intention of storing it in my hallway. Its an interesting piece but I can't place an accurate value on it (for insurance purposes) without some seasoned input on what it might be worth. Can someone take a look and suggest 1) a period/crafts person that might be associated with the piece and 2) a value? Further, it looks like it could be an orphan from a vanity set, but I've been calling it a night table since its on its own. Any ideas what the technical/historic name for this piece might be? Condition is poor-fair.
The condition of the wood underneath the veneer is fair-good. The structure is pretty solid, but the wood veneer is cracked, peeling, bubbling in some spots. The top of the unit is sturdy, but stained. There are random stains all over the body. Drawers open/close smoothly and the wheels roll (wheels are wood). There is interesting decor on the drawer knob/handles (see photos) and ornamental arrangements on the face and edges of the unit.
Thanks for all your help!
