Would like to know who makes it before I decide what to do to it.
This is a rounded tufted upholstered headboard for daybed wood trim. It comes with 2 half moon mattresses that are stacked for daybed seating/lounging. And for night you can lay mattresses down flat to form a circle, It was a very unusual piece so I brought it home.
A very interesting combination.As you can see its a little bit of everything.Its got Bridgewater styling with English features and a curved or Serpentine seat.Its on wheels and was recovered in this velvet material in 1971.Theres a whole other sofa underneath this material and when i put my hand under it i feel all kinds of metal straps not springs.It was well taken care of and is in great shape but i don't know what to do with it its in the movers box truck now and i'm thinking about tearing this fabric off to find out if whats underneath it is valuable.The color is Gold as in the one side picture not off green as some look.If anyone knows what this is i'd appreciate it.
sturdy construction, velvety tufted upholstery with trim attached, dark wood, front legs have small brass-like wheels, back legs do not have these.
Back legs and sides of chair back are from same piece of wood. Carving on top of chair back.
