Table belonged to inlaws of my Aunt.
Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png):

Table is oval and has had carving around the top. There is a removable glass serving tray. Under the tray is a hand carved design that I am not familiar with. I call it a "Merman" because it looks like a man of the sea with long hair at the tail end is a cherub on what appears to be a whale or fish and at the front (almost directly below the man's elbow) is another cherub. The table has carved claw feet and is in excellent condition for its age with exception to one of the legs appears to be slightly chipped. I know nothing about antiques to know what marks to look for or determine value or if the carving is something significant. If I had to guess I'd say it was a mahogany wood.

Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png):

This is a side table/harp table looking piece. It looks to be made out of cherry or a lighter mahogany. Under the table it has a gold plate indicating the following: Brandt Furniture of Character; 50th anniversary 1901-1951; 4705 51-493; Hagerstown, MD. It has a rectangular top that looks to be as if it is some sort of magazine holder (kind of like an old school desk). There are three legs that have a banana looking shape. It also has gold/brass claw like feet. I apologize for the butchering of this description, but as you can tell, antique furniture is new to me.

Has been in my family for 40 years, not sure of the set's origin
Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png):

Just wondering what to ask for this very solid table and chairs. The set has been in my family for 4+ decades and and was old when we got it. I would like to sell it but do not know how much to post it for! The table has some wear. The leaves (sleeves?) underneath do not, so the main part of the table would have to be refinished to make it all look perfect. There is some detail on the chairs that is not readily apparent in the photos. Looking to sell it locally and wondering what key words or suitable verbiage antique dealers or interested buyers might be searching for/attracted to. Thank you!
