bottom to top of lamp shade is 22.5" but figurines are 4.5 " wide x 10" high
History:
found at an estate sale. Sellers traveled the world with the Military for decades

both boy and girl have bare feet, possibly paupers or peasants. Girl has lace around bottom of dress with some lace borken off unless it is supposed to be that way due to the social class of girl. She has six roses in her hair and is carrying a water jug on her shoulder using one hand and her other hand is holding a bunch of roses as well as a blanket of sorts that wraps around her waist.
Boy has jacket with lace around the cuffs with some lace possibly broken. He is carrying a basket of bread or food on his shoulder with one hand and is leaning against a stump that has a three large leaves on it. One leaf has a broken tip.
The brass base has been cleaned at some point and has white cleaning cream smeared on bottom felt.
There are stickers on the bottom felt that have the name Cordey.
The lamp shades appear to be original whith out smells or tears. they have a beautiful border around the top and bottom. the finials on top of the shades look like something small may have broken off them and at one point an attempt to solder or weld the broken piece may have been made. Finials work for there purpose.
Cords are in great shape, however, cord heads are different and do not match the other.
Any broken pieces are so hard to spot that I didn't see them until I got home and started researching the items.
I'm tempted to clean them up but I will hold off and let a professional do the job.
They are very striking to say the least.

History:
It was passed down to me by my paternal grandmother. I know it is an antique.

The plate is in good shape. The gold rim has almost been completely rubbed off. On the underside of the rim of the plate there are a few small chips. The pictures of the one big pink rose with two little branching buds and one rose bud is fading a little bit and a little bit of the paint has been worn off. There are also scratch marks on the plate from knives and forks and things. The plate is square and smaller than your average dinner plate today. The dimensions are 7 1/4 inches x 7 1/4 inches. The plate weighs 279.4 grams. The picture I posted is NOT a picture of my actual plate, but my plate looks exactly like it. There is a marking on it that says "D 52". This Capo-Di-Monte porcelain basket of flowers has the crown and N mark. The porcelain basket is a woven wicker motif of light brown with a center handle. The porcelain flowers inside the basket are three roses (two pink, one yellow), two pink rose buds, and four smaller (5-petals) yellow flowers all with with green stems and leaves. The yellow flowers sit in the middle of the arrangement, and the pink roses and buds flank each side.

A lady whom I have known a long time gave it to my daughter. She has a huge collection of porcelain dolls. She let my little girl pick on out and told her it is expensive put it away and just look at it. I found a receipt dated 1998 she paid 137.50 for the doll then.

Porcelain doll. Description from head to toe. no photo.
Head- made of porcelain. has light brown hair with spiral curls. rosy cheeks and peach lips. brown eyes with pink bonnet tied around face.
Body- porcelain arms but soft body. pink and white dress (2 layers white layer (longer) under pink layer. pink layer has white lace on bottom) sleeves are white. Neck of dress has lace and lace is also on the pink portion just above the white sleeves by the shoulders.
Feet- porcelain. with lace topped socks(light peach colored) with shoes that are also light peach colored with bowes.
doll also has a flower basket and bunny tied to its hands. It has a delton tag hanging off of right hand.
doll stands about 18-20 in tall.

White exterior
Gold trim on top rim and base
Inside - white and gold colors, green and white flower on each side with black leaves
Black lines on the inside of the rim, alternating -- wide, (3)skinny, wide completely around
Will consider selling but not sure!
