Very Heavy!
Condition:
Good
Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png):

Given to us a few years ago by a friend who's grandmother previously owned it. It is very heavy with a few scratches here and there but overall has held up very nicely. I couldn't find much information on the company "Sprague & Carleton" and nothing about a "Patriot" line. It is dovetailed, and has an eagle and three star design on every handle.

Bought in Japan in the early 1970's. The drawers are loose and need to be repaired.
Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png):

This is a two-piece clothing tansu. The sides have latches that attach each piece together. The drawers are deep. The tansu shows "normal" wear for being an antique. A few of the drawers are loose and need to be fixed but they all work. This is a gorgeous piece of furniture. It is solid wood and looks like it has been lacquered. All the hardware is original. The top piece has a square door that latches and behind the door are 2 pull out drawers.
