Their is a cresent moon and some #'s stamped on it 4299 or 4=99. It's my most prized posession.

Picked up this corner cabinet almost 4 years ago at a roadside shop here in SC. When we purchased it, it was in bad need of sanding and new hardware, as it was missing the latches and had old milk paint chipping off. The orig. cut nails are still in place in the cabinet. Belonged to my friends Mom, he gave it to me as a gift. It perhaps hung in a live entertainment theater in downtown Milwaukee, WI., she worked in many throughout her lifetime.
Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png):

This is a stunningly beautiful mirror! Every single inch of it is done in tremendous detail. It is in great shape except for a few minor chips, but the bottom feet have suffered some damage as shown. One is slightly chipped, the other is missing the leaves entirely. The glass mirror is showing some signs of aging, but it is not bad at all! The paper is nearly all taken off the back, but enough remains intact to indicate the mirror, is still the original, I believe. The upper most part of the frame carvings look to be made of plaster and somehow attached to the wooden frame? The painted portions of the flowers are subtle until you are up close enough to notice...what a lovely added touch.
