Hi there, thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm clearing out my Late Father's flat - and I came across a couple of items of furniture which I thought it would be useful to know more about.
The first was this wooden cabinet. I'm afraid I don't know anything about it apart from it was bought approximately 50-55 years ago. It has a tag/label on the back which says 'CWS LTD / CABINET FACTORY / BIRMINGHAM'. The back doesn't seem particularly sturdy (made of quite thin board) but the rest of it seems in quite good condition.
The second is this small nest of tables. They slide into one another on small rungs and have a glass top which is slightly inset into the top of the table. Again, I'm afraid I don't know anything else about them apart from they were my late grandmother's and were passed on to my Dad. I can't see any writing/tags on them.
If anyone could provide any more info on either or both of the items it would be very much appreciated. It would also be useful to know if there was any value in either of them. Many thanks for your help and time,
Best wishes, Andrew
