I purchased this Urn/mason jar (if that is what you call it) with lid 25 years ago for $45.00. It stands approximately 9.25 inches high with the lid on and approximately 8 inches in width. There is one very tiny chip in the rim and crazing (?) throughout which are barely visible without looking close up, but no obvious cracks from damage. Each side appears to have the same scene but one side looks as if it was not lined up properly when firing so makes it seem a little off.  I would say that if not for the crazing and the tiny chip, this jar is in excellent condition for it's age. There is also a red roman numeral 2 etched in the bottom.
I Would love to know more on its history, origin and approximate value.  I hope I have provided enough detailed information and photos in order for you to give me an accurate assessment of this piece.
All the best!
