I have two leather bound and embossed photo albums from the 1934 Century of Progress in Chicago. Each album measures approx. 8 1/2 by 11 by 3 inches and hold over 100 photos in each album. This came from the estate of my husband's coworkers father-in-law who worked for Kodak at the time of the fair. His ticket stub and family photo are included. The remainder of the pictures appear to be "official" with the name on each. Each album has different photos.
Overall the albums are in pretty good condition. There is wear to the leather and one has a damaged corner as shown in the photographs. Most photo corners are affixed, but there are a few loosened photographs. I do not think that there are any missing.
We love Century of Progress collectables and have not seen anything like them in our research. We'd love to know more and how much they should be insured for.
Thank you!
