Long Description
This is a Tichelaar Makkum decorative wall plate. It is called "flow blue" because the hand painted designs blend with the glaze (I believe).
The plate is 10 3/4" diameter, and is a deep dish at 1 3/4" tall.
Â
The blue designs on a creamy gray background include sunflowers and geometric shapes. They have an Oriental appearance to me.
Â
The mark on the back is hand written in blue (see photos).
History
I bought this plate at a thrift store in Maryland.
