marble?
brass?
8.5" diameter
I have a pair of gold speckled and white lamps made out of glass. Â They are both on top of a metal base, gold-colored, possibly brass?? Â There is a possible marble base under the metal part. Â I do not know how to verify the materials.
The other pieces I have acquired from the same person have all been from the 1930s-50s. Â I do not know for sure if these are as well, but it wouldn't be impossible. Â
I have tried looking up info on Murano glass lamps, but I am not sure how to fully determine if these are or not. Â Their design is not the same in each lamp. Â They are quite weighty. Â They measure approximately 19.5" from the base to the bottom of the bulb socket (it's a little hard to measure due to its shape). Â The diameter at the widest part of the lamp is approximately 8.5". Â They are both fully functional.
The bottom of the marble base has some felt that is starting to deteriorate.
