Long Description
This is a very heavy and pretty old desk. I don't know what material or when it was made but it has the "Leopold" stamp plate inside the middle drawer. It's in very good condition and very huge. I would like to see if anyone knows it's worth as I want to sell it. It is taking up too much space in my offic at home and I am getting readyto retire soon. It has two writing leaves (one on each side) that can slide in and out. It has a middle drawer, a file drawer, 4 medium drawers and two small drawers. It is a walnut color.
History
Not much. My father-in-law was a cabinet maker. He was self-employed and I believe he purchased it from a client. He later stained it and refurbished it to what it looks like today.
Price Paid (If known)
It was given to me by my father-in-law about 20 years ago (he's 96 years old)
