Large Carved Wooden Fisherman

Large Carved Wooden Fisherman appraisal

I have no idea where this came from. It might be Indonesian or some place in Asia or the South Pacific. Not sure what kind of wood it is; it's heavy though. Maybe mahagony? At first I thought this was a man but the figure has breasts. In one hand it's holding a fish. You can see in the pic that there's a crack down the front but it's not deep at all. There's no identifying mark or signature anywhere on the piece including the bottom. I haven't cleaned/polished it yet. Appreciate any info about this piece e.g., where it's from, value and age.
