It appears that the body of this doll is porcelain (aka bisque) if it is then the doll is a modern day artists rendition of and antique doll. Making these was very popular in ceramics and porcelain classes back in the 1980's. You may find somewhere on the back of the neck, upper back or even on the bottom of a foot, the artists initials and the year made. Some people to collect these repro's unfortunately I couldn't give you a dollar amount for value.
