If this is a first edition, it may be worth some money.

But condition means everything. And your copy looks pretty fine.

I know only about those sold at Sotheby's. A double first

edition ("The Jungle Book"1894 and "The Second Jungle Book"1895,)

published by MacMillan, London, made 1.440 GBP.

Nearly the top estimation of 1.500 GBP. It wasn't even in mint

condition, having some spots and some slight wear.

Go to their website and search the Books & Manuscripts department.

They several more of those double, British editions on sale.

But this New York edition...I don't know, hope the prices of the

MacMillan twin edition give a indication about the value of yours.
