Re: Foley China, Tea Cup/Saucer, Side Plate
Foley is a well known English pottery producing mid range china.
Most of their tea cups/snack sets sell for under $25.00.

Re: Foley China, Tea Cup/Saucer, Side Plate
As it is a limited edition, apparently only 50 in circulation, so I have been told elsewhere, I think $25.00 is well under estimation.
Re: Foley China, Tea Cup/Saucer, Side Plate
Foley made a lot of this type it was called Crested Ware. They made it for many counties and cities with the "arms" shield/crest of the county/city. It was also sold as souvenir ware.
If it was a presentation piece it should have that marked on it.
Can you get a clear shot of the makers mark? So it can at least be dated? And a clear shot of the crest as well please?
Re: Foley China, Tea Cup/Saucer, Side Plate
"Limited Edition" means little if there are few buyers ;~)
Generally such modern pieces are really only of interest to people related to the crest or coat of arms, such as members of the club, association etc.

Am taking to antiques show next week, will let you know..
Re: Foley China, Tea Cup/Saucer, Side Plate
This china was probably part of a huge set owned by the county council. Very little, if any, worth. Not as old as you think, either.
