5 Cups and saucers with pink, yellow and purple flowers on a black background and gilt edging) The flowers are edged with gold paint and there are gold dots throughout the pattern. Â The interior of the cup and the edge of the saucer is done in red, white and gold (sun and flowers?). Â The edges have a black line interior to a gold rim. Â The cup and saucer are both scalloped. Â
The cup and saucer are marked with the shield (beehive) of Royal Vienna. Â I believe the mark represents the earliest period of the company's production.
These cups do not look like anything I have seen attributed to Royal Vienna or  the "Royal Vienna Period"  I inheirited them over 40 years ago and they have been packed away most of that time.
I am looking to find something comparable to determine value and with all the research I have done I have found out more about Royal Vienna fakes that authentic pieces.
I would possibly like to sell them but I feel I need more information before I make that decision.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
