I came across an old drop leaf table that needed some TLC as it had a broken leg and alot of scarring on the table top. Â I went ahead and had it refinished from a dark brown to a deep, rich, cherry colour. Â As it was dismantled, there were a couple of markings on the bottom and a unique pull opener on the drawer that warrented this inquiry. Â The drawer is tongue and groove, and the pull opener is a brass lions head with a ring through its mouth. Â The legs are dowled and underneath there is the number 97 stamped on bottom of drawer and immbedded into the wood base of the table. Â It was brought to my attention that it could be an "original" Duncan phyfe. Â If anyone could help with identifying, I would greatly appreciate it.

thank you
